2010 SEMA Global Media Award

QuietRIDE Solutions was named a 2010 Global Media Award winner at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) annual show in Las Vegas in November.  QuietRide was selected by a panel of International judges for introducing one of the best new products at the SEMA  Show.  The company is among an elite group of companies to receive one of the SEMA Show’s highest honors.  Making the presentation was Daniel Garcia Solis, editor of V8 MuscleCars, published in Mexico.

Introduced in the “New Street Rod/Custom Car Product category” was QuietRide’s reproduction firewall insulator for the 1978-88 Buick, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Monte Carlo and El Camino (G-Body cars) built by General Motor. The G-Body firewall insulator is molded from a high definition rubber material and duplicates the original GM product exactly.  It is one of 600 firewall insulator products made exclusively for the antique, classic, custom and street rod aftermarket industry.  Based in Stockton, California, QuietRIDE Solutions has served the hotrod and restoration market since 1978.

Since 2004, the SEMA Global Media Awards Program has been a staple of the SEMA Show—the premier automotive accessories trade event in the world.  It involves bringing journalists from throughout the world to the SEMA Show, with the purpose of identifying and discovering what new products are likely to succeed in their home countries.  The participating media represents some of the industry’s top magazines and the editors are amongst the most respected in the world.  Their opinions are highly regarded.  Given the knowledge and expertise about the automotive markets in their countries, there is a high probability that the products they identified truly will resonate with consumers in their respective markets.

The voting panel reviewed over 2,000 new products that were introduced at this year’s show.  From these, the journalists selected a limited number of products that would be of most interest to their publication’s readers and most likely succeed commercially in their respective countries.  Publications from 16 countries were represented on the judges panel this year.
