The rear cab panel of a typical pickup truck is a large steel panel that is a “drum-like” source of noise and vibration. This combination kit includes both the sound deadener damper material as well as the heat shield absorber/barrier material. The installation of these materials will to the rear cab of the truck will control noise transmission and radiated heat. (Behind Gas Tank)

Body Panel Damper
Truck body panels are composed of stamped 18 gauge sheet metal that can act like a “drum” when it comes to noise and vibration transmission. The Body Panel Damper will silence the vibrations in these panels.

Body Panel Absorber/Barrier
The application of a layer of heat shield over damper material will amplify the effect of the dampening and provide heat barrier to the rear cab body panels.
