Most automotive trunk floor panels have some depressions stamped into the steel for strength. The trunk floor of older cars is usually flat and can create a great deal of noise and vibration. A trunk floor damper will reduce this noise to a minimum.

This two-stage combination kit will both dampen the "ring" in the floor panels of a typical car trunk and provide an insulation barrier equal to a thermal rating of 18.3 to make the car cool and quiet inside.
